About the PAGD Mentor Network

The goal of the PAGD Mentor Network is to promote excellence and growth in dentistry through professional relationships. Every year, PAGD opens up the opportunity for dentists out of school ten years or less to go through our list of potential mentors and select someone that they feel could offer valuable perspective on their practice and careers. Mentors and mentees can discuss any subject on which the mentee would like advice, like clinical skills, career development, practice ownership, or team management.

Mentees control the mentor relationship. They select the mentor, they choose the methods and frequency of communication, they can select a different mentor if they choose. Mentors are questioned and publicized so mentees can be fully informed when choosing their mentor.

PAGD will sound the call for mentors and mentees every May. The program is evaluated every December through survey data from participants.
