PAGD is bringing this course to the Pittsburgh area on the evening of Thursday, May 2. Registration is $40/attendee. Students and residents can attend at no charge. The schedule is as follows:
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Happy Hour. Light dinner and drinks will be served.
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Glass Ionomer Cements (GIC) and Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Cements (RMGI) by Dr. Nick Miniotis
The history, chemistry and physical properties of GIC and RMGI used in dentistry will be discussed. The mechanism of adhesion to dentin (bonding) will be reviewed and compared to composite resin dentin bonding. Emphasis will be placed on the newer generation of restorative GIC/RMGI materials.
