Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse for Dental Professionals

PAGD has been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and the Pennsylvania Department of State to offer continuing education fulfilling the Act 31 requirement for licensure renewal. By the end of this interactive online course, providers will be able to:

  1. Describe the child welfare system in Pennsylvania
  2. Describe the components of, categories of, and exclusions to child abuse definitions
  3. Address the provisions and responsibilities for reporting suspected child abuse
  4. Recognize child abuse indicators

Due to space limitations, each course will be limited to 100 participants. To receive webinar instructions, each licensee must register using a separate email. All participants must provide their license number, date of birth, and the last four digits of their social security number during the registration process to receive credit towards their license.

Cost: $20 for AGD/PAGD members, $40 for nonmembers
