Earn CE, support the AGD Foundation, and help detect oral cancer

This webinar will cover the basics of oral examination and focus on detection of clinically suspicious lesion. A flow-chart based algorithm will be provided to help clinicians assess suspicious intraoral white lesions. At the conclusion of this unit, when presented with a clinical scenario, attendees will be able to:
  1. Detect lesions that are clinically suspicious for cancer - extraoral, lips and intraoral
  2. Detect and distinguish between white oral plaques that are clinically suspicious and those that are benign
  3. Assess a patient presenting with a non-wipeable white intraoral plaque and make appropriate management recommendations
  4. Explain the significance of epithelial atypia, epithelial dysplasia and recommend appropriate management

Cost for attending is a minimum $20 contribution to the AGD Foundation. All proceeds from this webinar will be contributed to the Foundation. The AGD Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the AGD, focuses on oral/oropharyngeal cancer awareness, risk factor education, and diagnostic training for general dentists.
